Versioning

Version ထိန်းသိမ်းခြင်း

The API is URL-versioned: every endpoint lives under a version prefix (/v1). Within a version, changes are additive and backward-compatible — new endpoints, new optional fields, and new enum values may appear, so write clients to ignore unknown fields. Any breaking change ships under a new version path (/v2, …); the current version is never broken in place. Deprecations are announced here before a version is retired. No fixed sunset dates are committed at this time.

2026-07-21 — Delegated developer accounts for the portal

The portal now accepts a second identity: a delegated developer account (email + password) at /portal/developer/login, so an integrator can manage a shop's API keys without the merchant's POS password.
An account is bound to exactly one shop, sees only that shop's applications and keys, and cannot sign in to the POS at all. The shop is derived server-side from the account, exactly as it is from a key.
Provisioned by DOEH at the merchant's request, with a one-time bootstrap password; first sign-in forces a password change before the portal opens. See Portal access.

2026-07-05 — Consumer plane · publishable keys + consumer SDK · sandbox

New consumer plane for a shop's own customer-facing apps: /v1/mobile/loyalty/* (settings / balance / transactions / redeem) authenticated by a publishable key (X-Publishable-Key: pk_test_…) plus the signed-in customer's bearer token. The shop is derived server-side from the key — a client shop claim is never trusted. See the Consumer Mobile API reference.
New SDK: @beyondplusmm/[email protected] — a typed consumer client with the two-credential transport and consumer error ABI; the SDK quickstart now covers both planes.
Sandbox only for now: live at https://sandbox-api.doehpos.com/v1; the production consumer plane is not yet enabled.
The kitchen module (removed from the merchant SDK in 0.3.0) is fully retired from the public surface.

2026-06-24 — Loyalty Starter v1.2.1 · frozen

New Starter Kits page: clone-and-own the DOEH Loyalty Starter, a complete store-publishable app built on the SDK.
The template now includes a Sandbox Inspector (dev-only), pnpm bootstrap, pnpm doctor, mock mode (build with no key), and five example brand packs.
One-command sandbox proof: pnpm smoke:sandbox drives earn / balance / redeem / 409 / idempotent replay through the published SDK. Status: frozen (bug fixes, SDK parity, and Expo upgrades only).

2026-06-23 — SDK 0.4.0 · loyalty redeem

@beyondplusmm/[email protected] adds loyalty.redeem() — spend points with POST /v1/loyalty/members/{id}/redeem, idempotent so a retried redeem never double-spends. The loyalty surface (earn / redeem / getMember) now matches the contract.
New typed errors: InsufficientPointsError (409, current balance on err.body.balance) and MemberNotFoundError (404).

2026-06-21 — TypeScript SDK quickstart

New SDK quickstart: npm install @beyondplusmm/doehpos-sdk, authenticate, and place your first order with a typed client.
The quickstart code is type-checked in CI against the published SDK and rendered verbatim on the portal, so the docs cannot drift from the real surface.

2026-06-21 — Orders (sales submission) · experimental

New POST /v1/orders capability: submit a basket of { sku, qty } and receive a fully priced, server-resolved order. See the Orders reference.
The edge validates structure (auth + shape, EDGE_BAD_BODY); the core owns pricing, tax, inventory and order truth, surfacing typed business errors (e.g. EmptyOrderError, UnknownSkuError).
Experimental: the contract is stable and the typed SDK surface ships ahead of general availability so you can build against it now.

2026-06-16 — Sandbox available

Sandbox live at https://sandbox-api.doehpos.com/v1 with sk_test_… keys.
Isolated test data, reset to a deterministic baseline daily (~03:30 UTC); strict test/live key separation (API_KEY_ENV_MISMATCH).

Production API live at https://api.doehpos.com/v1.
All four modules available: delivery, loyalty, marketplace, rider.
Merchant API-key authentication with server-derived shop/branch scope; idempotent POSTs.

2026-06-11 — Developer portal & reference

API reference published for all five modules, plus Authentication and Error guides.
Owner key-issuance portal at /portal (create, rotate, revoke keys).
